Ballz is an incredibly retro-looking game that will bring you back to the classic gaming days of your childhood.
From the developer of Skyward, Space Frontier and Sky Ball, Ketchapp brings classic arcade-style ball bouncing excitement to the iPhone and Android smartphones with Ballz. I’ll be covering this from the iOS side of things but I’m sure it will be the same on Android as well!
If one remembers the Atari, specifically the Atari 2600, there was an awesome arcade game where you’d use a device with a wheel known as a paddle to bounce a ball against several layers of multicolored bricks and it was known as Breakout. You’d simply have to break away all the bricks to make it to the next level which was progressively harder. Ballz just happens to be highly inspired by Breakout and adds some interesting and highly addictive twists to it!
Well, some background is in order here as I must mention my roots and those roots lie deeply entrenched in the BRONX. It was a land of mean streets where the murder rate on a nice day averaged 2 or 3 bodies riddled with half a dozen fatal gunshot wounds but when drug deals went SOWAH the body count soared to 5 or even 10 although most deaths were likely never recorded or solved as the MOB had perfected the use of dynamite and concrete shoes to either hide or destroy all the evidence.
